Your wedding pictures are an important part of your wedding celebration as it is what you can look back on many years down the line. Choosing a good wedding photographer is therefore vital to ensure that all your special wedding moments are captured forever. Here are 3 tips on how to choose a good wedding photographer.
- Ask Around- check with family and friends on wedding photographers they have worked with in the past. You could also ask other wedding professionals assisting with your event, for example your caterer, florist or DJ.
- Check them out- If you have a list of photographers you would like to work with, make sure you have a look at their website. Look at their style of taking pictures and capturing the event. If you have time, give them a call or pop in for a quick meeting. Find out if they are friendly and easy to work with. Make sure you ask the photographer how many people will cover the event. The more people covering the event, the better chance you will get a wider range of pictures to choose from.
- Price- Ask the photographer how much he would charge for photographing and videoing the event including the number of wedding albums provided. Usually the photographer will provide a contract which will clearly state what is on offer and the time it would take to get the album and video created. Make sure you get a rough copy of this contract and have a read. If you have any questions, ask them before your contract is signed.
